  • A few notes on Marisol
  • Even though we are a few weeks done with New World Arts’ production of Marisol, the marketing created such a buzz (about the actual design of it), that it’s time to talk about it.

  • Real life stories (and happily abandoned book proposals)

Sunday Round Up: 4/20/08

A collection of links from through out the week, GR style.

By Danny

A collection of links from through out the week. In honor of my being in Grand Rapids for Calvin College’s Festival of Faith and Writing, I’ll try to make them as GR-related as possible.

  • G-RAD
A local blog cooperative, which also undertakes internet-related projects for the general Grand Rapids art community. A frequent source of inspiration.
  • Viget
A Grand Rapids community wiki, started by G-RAD. A pretty incredible resource of all things modern GR. Includes maps for most locations, and some great information.
  • The DAAC
Take New World Arts, make the focus music and independent film, and move it to Grand Rapids and you’ve got the DAAC (the Division Avenue Arts Cooperative). The same wonderful community arts resource; the same non-for-profit drama!
  • Thoughts on Faith and Writing
During our live blog of FWW 08, we teamed up with the Calvin College marketing department and their live blog of the event, cross posting content from each of our blogs onto the other. I would especially recommend Allison’s posts about her experience with stories and life in GR and at Calvin. She’s a very talented blog author.
